Gateway Reader Nominee Books

What are Gateway books?
Each year, fifteen books are chosen by high school students, teachers, and librarians all across the state of Missouri that become the next Gateway Reader Nominee list. The books cover different genres, interests, and reading levels ensuring a wide appeal.

Why should you read them?
Because they are good books! And, if you read TWO books from the current lis before March 1st, you are eligible to vote and attend our Gateway voting party held each year. Grab a book and a reading log the next time you are in the library and get started. Don't know which to read first? Ask a librarian for a recommendation!

How can I help choose the next year's list?
By becoming a Gateway Reader Selector. Click on the link below if you'd like more information or come and chat with us in the library.
